Anonymous no 598.0 Enhanced youth programs , Enhanced adult coaching programs, New or improved food and drink options, New or improved equipment store, New or improved lockers and showers, Resurface tennis courts Add access and restroom for Bluebell Park use. (1) Biggest priority is a need to add access and a restroom for Bluebell Park use. Need to add a second floor to the community building for classrooms and community meetings, organized, controlled, and administered by someone other than the tennis area. The gym room should be enlarged and more open space. Have had the feeling ever since I moved here that unless you want to play tennis, there was no reason to be in this area. That needs to change by making it more open, changing the name from tennis to recreation center, encouraging more youth and adult classes and activities that are not just tennis. 08/19/2015 no no yes

We even had an champion basketball player make a Guinness Book of World Records at that facility for consecutive free throws (2750); http://freethrow.com/ and http://www.recordholders.org/en/list/freethrows.html, by Tom Amberry (at age 72) in November of 1993 at our Rossmoor Athletic Club. We also had a premiere Squash program with 3 glass courts and the best club players in Los Angeles to San Diego with tournaments that would draw players from San Francisco to San Diego to Las Vegas. I think its time to replace a treasure that Seal Beach provided to the racquet community with a tennis-friendly sport that is endorsed and played by the worlds best tennis players too. (See link below about Andy Murray) Players such as ANDRE AGASSI, ROGER FEDERER, and ANDY MURRAY are all world class tennis players that use squash for conditioning and love the sport too! We could put 2-3 indoor or outdoor courts in same area as one tennis court and we could expand the youth program's need for the Olympic programs for squash player youths of America that is so desperately needed, particularly for the WEST COAST. It takes LESS electricity to play MORE sport in the SAME area and can serve to provide tennis players, new and old, with an alternative program that Seal Beach was ALREADY known for in the area. Please support a program that would be a perfect fit for this facility. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/tennis/10285479/Andy-Murray-backs-calls-for-squash-to-be-added-to-the-Olympic-Games-in-2020.html http://getsquashintheolympics.com/ 04/21/2016 yes no yes

As a resident near the tennis club it's nice to know I can refer someone to the tennis club to play pickle ball instead. Looks like fun and maybe it will get so good that people will want to play it rather than tennis:) 04/25/2016 no no yes
